This week we celebrate 3 saints and Mary.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n
Today, we celebrate St. Henry, German King, Holy Roman Emperor, known for his piety & generosity. Tomorrow, we celebrate St. Kateri Tekakwitha, a Native-American Mohawk Indian who is the patron saint of ecology and the environment. Wednesday is the feast of St. Bonaventure, Bishop and Doctor of the Church. And, Thursday, we celebrate Mary as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and remember the order of Carmelites and all those who live as religious hermits.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Our readings for the 16th Sunday of Ordinary Time this coming weekend speak of God’s power, yet of His mercy. When we are weak, the Spirit brings help. We live with evil, but, at harvest time, the good will shine.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
