On the Road Again! Got to get back on the road again! These lyrics of a Willie Nelson song, beckon us to stay on the path.
This Easter season, we are like the two disciples on the Road to Emmaus. We are sad, yet, we have faith & hope that the Risen Lord will remain with us on the journey.
This is the faith & hope that sustains us in times of challenge and adaptation.
May our hearts burn with love and desire for what the Lord has to give to us! That, the Sacrament that is Jesus nourish us and give us new life! Amen! Alleluia!
Our readings today speak of joy in the Lord. They speak of the power of God working through Jesus. Let us seek the Lord and rejoice!
Scripture:
“I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, rise and walk.”
(Acts of the Apostles 3)
“Rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord.” (Psalm 105)
“Were not our hearts burning within us while he spoke to us on the way and opened the Scriptures to us?” (Luke 24)
