Country Fair

The St. Damien Catholic Parish of Molokai’s event, the Country Fair, is an annual event put on for and heartily supported by the community. This event is a fundraiser in order to pay off the debt incurred in building a new church structure in Kaunakakai. It includes activities for the children, a plant sale, a silent auction, arts and crafts, barbecued chicken that can be bought raw or cooked, fresh, local grown shrimp, drawings for prizes, live music and entertainment.

With the COVID19 restrictions in place for 2020, the St. Damien Parish was not able to do this annual fundraiser in the same manner. Lucky number tickets were distributed for a donation and the drawing of the winning ticket (and the other prizes) was held on Saturday, Nov. 7th, 2020 at the St. Damien Parish Center.
