Alleluia! He has Risen!

In these times of uncertainty, the great mana of the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead inspires our faith and thanksgiving. It is through the mercy of God that we have the peace we seek and the defeat of doubt and fear in our lives. “Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

In the Hawaiian culture, even though we might be living in times of po (darkness), there is no po without ao (light)! That is pono!

May the blessing of Almighty God, on this Divine Mercy Sunday, the Second Sunday of Easter, be upon you and your ohana, + In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Scripture:

“Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.” (Acts 2)

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love is everlasting.
I was hard pressed and was falling, but the Lord helped me. My strength and my courage is the Lord, and he has been my savior.” (Psalm 118)

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you who by the power of God are safeguarded through faith, to a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the final time.” (1 Peter 1)

“Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” (John 20)
Blessings, much pule and much pono!
