Aloha nui to all!

May God’s peace be with each and every one of you on this Wednesday of the 2nd week of Easter!

As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, let us do something for the earth today – water a plant, cut the grass, weed the garden, something we can do to remind ourselves that we live in a natural world. It’s so easy for us here on Molokai to give God thanks for the beauty of this place that God has given us. But, for many, nature is not so kind. So, let us pray for those who may be lacking sunshine, water, food at this time and ask the Lord to provide for them.

We live in a world of darkness and light. Let us live in the light, the light of Christ! Alleluia!!!

In our Scripture today, we hear of God hearing the cries of the poor and of God providing light where there is darkness and of God’s tremendous love for us.

+ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Alleluia.

Scripture:

“The Lord hears the cry of the poor.” (Psalm 34)

“God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. The light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light. Whoever lives the truth comes to the light.” (John 3)

No daily Mass from Kamalo today! Technical difficulties!

I will attempt to broadcast mass from my office tomorrow. Pray it works!

Blessings, pule & pono!
