Peace of the Lord be with you and your ohana on this Saturday of the 6th Week of Easter!
Our Bishop has allowed churches to open up, if they are ready, for masses May 30-31. However, we are not quite ready yet. We still have to coordinate some things into place and receive a supply of spare PPE’s before we can open up for masses. So, I am shooting for Tuesday, June 2 with the 7am mass to resume our regular mass schedule. For Maunaloa and Kaluaaha, it would be Sunday, June 7.
Our Scriptures today speak of teaching about Jesus with an ardent spirit and bringing strength to disciples, for God is king over all the earth and it is through Jesus Christ our Lord that we receive the Father and all that He gives to us. Amen! Alleluia!
Scripture:
“Paul brought strength to all the disciples. Apollos, with ardent spirit, spoke and taught accurately about Jesus.” (Acts 18)
“God is king of all the earth.” (Psalm 47)
“Whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have come to believe that I came from God.” (John 16)
Blessings, Pono and Pule!
