May the grace and peace of the ascended Lord be with you and your ohana on this Monday of the last week of Easter!

It is a time when we are preparing to reopen our churches to resume masses.

Our first mass will be the 7am mass on Tuesday, June 2 at St. Damien church in Kaunakakai.
Our first weekend masses will be on Saturday & Sunday, June 6-7.

Our weekend and daily schedule remains the same.

Within the next seven days we will be putting all the final preparation plans in place to reopen our churches on June 2 and we should be receiving the rest of our PPE supplies.

Pray for a safe reopening on June 2!

Remember 3 things!
Social distancing! Masks! Sanitize!

The Damien Center will remain closed except for essential services such as food distribution, financial business and necessary office business. Use of the Damien Center for small group meetings (<=5) must be approved by the pastor and practice social distancing, masks & sanitizing.

Daily YouTube mass will continue from the Kamalo Rectory through Monday, June 1.

Scripture:

“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers? And then Paul laid hands on them and the Holy Spirit came upon them and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.” (Acts of the Apostles 19)

“Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth. God gives a home to the forsaken.” (Psalm 68)

“We believe that you came from God. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” (John 16)

Our Scriptures today speak of receiving the Holy Spirit, of not being forsaken by God and that the Lord has conquered the world and all its troubles. Amen! Alleluia!

And, may the the Lord bless you, + In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen! Alleluia!

Blessings, pono and pule!
