Our Scriptures today speak of tears and trials, of bearing witness, of persevering in the race, of God’s grace, of God bearing our burdens and a God who saves us for eternal life.
Scripture:
“I served the Lord with all humility and with the tears and trials that came to me. I earnestly bore witness to repentance before God and to faith in our Lord Jesus. I consider life of no importance to me, if only I may finish my course to bear witness to the Gospel of God’s grace.” (Acts of the Apostles 20)
“The Lord bears our burdens; God is our salvation. God is a saving God for us.” (Psalm 68)
“That your son may give eternal life to all you gave him. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” (John 17)
