Peace be with you and your ohana on this Wednesday of the 10th week of ordinary time!

It is the fulfillment of the law of Moses that Jesus came into the world. He did not come to abolish that law but to give it more flesh and blood.

Jesus speaks of the least and the greatest in the Kingdom of God in today’s gospel. Do I wish to be one of the least or one of the greatest in the Kingdom of God? If one of the greatest, then I must obey God’s commandments and follow Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life. Amen!

Scripture:

“You are God and I am your servant. The Lord is God! The Lord is God!” (1 Kings 18)

“Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope. I set the Lord ever before me; with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.” (Psalm 16)

“Teach me your paths, my God, and guide me in your truth.” (Psalm 25)

“Whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5)

Blessings, pono and pule!
