Aloha to all this 20th week in ordinary time!

It is a time of waiting! I know Advent is not here yet, but it does seems like Advent as we continue to wait out the storm in anticipation of something better.

The Lord remains our Rock! It is he who calms the storm and brings peace! Just as Jesus built his church upon Peter, the Rock, we know that our God lives through others. Our God is a living God, not an inanimate God!

St. John Eudes, St. Bernard, St. Pius X and the Queenship of Mary, these are the feasts we celebrate this week. May they inspire us to continue to have faith, hope and love in a world desperately needing them.

The inspiration this week comes from the land! It is the land that will not be destroyed, even if we are. The land lives on, timeless and awesome! It is the rock of Gibraltar, the anchor for our feet. How precious is our land! Amen!

Blessings, pono and pule!
