Aloha nui loa to all!
As we proclaim Our Lord, Jesus Christ, King of the Universe,
this Sunday, let us remember the words of Jesus before Pilate: “You say I am a king.
For this I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth.”
The testimony of Jesus before Pilate calls each one of us to reckon with ourselves the
following question: “Do you say this on your own or have others told you about me?”
To testify that Jesus is the Christ, the Savior, the Redeemer, the Messiah, the King of the
Universe, requires us to let go of our own agendas and let the Lord into our lives to share
His love with us so we can share that love with others. Sometimes, this is hard, but it is
necessary to achieve salvation and eternal life with God in heaven. Yes, we need to
repent of our sins, but to repent with our hearts, minds and souls. Just as Jesus asks us
to love God with our whole heart, mind and soul, He asks us to repent with the same
depth of our being. The truth speaks through the Lord and King of the Universe. May He
be praised and worshiped! Amen! Alleluia!
Blessings, pono and pule!
