Tomorrow we celebrate Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit. May the Spirit be alive in you!
Today’s Scriptures speak of suffering for the sake of the Kingdom and the spread of the Gospel. They also speak of the coming of the Holy Spirit that will open the disciples to the truth of God.
Scriptures:
“It is on account of the hope of Israel that I wear these chains. And he proclaimed the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Acts of the Apostles 28)
“I will send to you the Spirit of truth, says the Lord; he will guide you to all truth.” (John 16)
